5Easy way to drink your citrus fruits
By OhioShopper
This juicer was easy to use right out of the box. The four suction cups on the base hold the juicer steady on the counter while the juicer is working. The unit comes with two plastic reamers (small one for limes, lemons, etc., and a large one for grapefruit, oranges, etc.) that snap together for easy usage and storage. I've only used this juicer for juicing citrus, but the unit can also be used for mixing fresh salad dressings and marinades. The plastic carafe has two recipes printed on one side (citrus marinade and citrus vinaigrette) and liquid measurements printed on the other side (1/4 cup through 2 cups, and 50 ml through 500 ml). The parts are advertised as dishwasher safe, but I've been washing the parts by hand.

The motor in this juicer works well for a small kitchen appliance. I juiced almost two bags of oranges with this juicer one morning and had no problems with the motor overheating or failing. If you're wondering just how much fruit it takes to m ake 1 cup of juice, here's a guideline: an average-sized grapefruit will yield about 1 cup of juice.

The only issue I've had with this juicer is with the black dish that has the spout to direct the freshly squeezed juice in to the carafe. If too many citrus fruits are juiced in a row, some of the fine pieces of pulp might plug up the hole that helps juice flow in to the carafe. A quick poke with a toothpick will clear the way for juice to flow again.

If you're looking for an easy way to drink your citrus fruits, give this juicer a try.

5I Love This!
By sailor
Every day I would juice 2 oranges, 1 lemon and 1 lime by hand to make a 40 ounce container of citrus 'agua de fresca'. It took quite a while to juice, play with the pulp to try to get all the juice to flow throw the screen, then try to juice the rest of the citrus. I went on a search for an electric citrus juicer. I wanted small, easy to use and low cost. I looked at a few and decided on this one, even though the unfavorable review. Juiced all the citrus very quickly (compared to hand) and it got all of the juices out and hardly left anything behind except the rinds. If you stop pressing, the mechanism then turns the reamer the opposite direction. As it turns, it clears the pulp so the juices keep flowing into it's own measuring cup. I was able to get a lot more juice than doing it by hand. It comes with 2 reamer sizes, I use the large one to juice the oranges, then take it off and the small one is already on the machine (the large sits on top of the small) so it' s ready to go with the smaller lemons and limes. Very, very easy to clean and that is important to me. It comes with a cover. You can also pull up the spout to stop any drips but as soon as I do the juice, I lift off the removable parts and let the last of the juice flow into the measuring up and then rinse it off. Very fast, very easy. As long as this holds up I'll be very happy.

*to make citrus aqua de fresca: Juice 2 oranges, 1 lemon, 1 lime. Pour the juice into a large pitcher (I use a 40 ouncer), then add 3 tablespoons sugar (you can use Splenda, honey, or raw brown sugar - any sweetener of your choice or none but I find it a bit too tart without any sweetener), then fill with filtered water and refrigerate. I usually have the 40 ounces gone in a day. This is so much tastier than just slicing the citrus fruits and letting it steep in water - and no waste with using the juices compared to the infusers.

4Pretty stoked!
By William Taylor
So far so good!
You read all the reviews on here, for any juicer under $100, and they all sound a bit weak, and trouble-prone, but so far not the Ham Beach 66333!
Our citrus in our yard is going off right now, to where I can hardly keep up, but thank goodness the HB 66333 is! I usually juice a mix of grapefruit and oranges daily, and this thing takes it right down the the peel, and then does a great job getting just the right amount of pulp for me (somewhere between no pulp and country-style).
The suction cup feet are great! That thing's not movin while you juice!
The little flip up spout is a double bonus I've found. Not only does it stop the juice when you flip it up, but it also has a little nub that will punch in and clean the hole that the juice pours through, which will sometimes get filled and stuck with a big pulp chunk. (not often)
It's durable where it needs to be it seems. The scraper bits seem like tough plastic and the pulp catch is metal. Easy to clean all parts; takes around 30 seconds to rinse everything off.
The juice cup is a nice size and is great how it curves under the spout. Never used the strainer/mixer or the measuring cup and recipes, but maybe one day...
I'm a month in with the HB now, so I'll update if I have any more news.
Doesn't get 5 stars, 'cause it doesn't self-clean :)
